We had a couple of blackouts today and almost lost the fish. The filter wasn't pumping air into the mix when it restarted and with 50 or so fish that was a disaster waiting to happen.
Fortunately, I spotted it when the fish were all gasping for air at the top.
Re-set the filter to put in the extra air and did a quick 30% water change adding an airstone just to assist with immediate airation.
Loss was 1 Clown Loach- the last one to have gone through the white spot a while ago- obviously not 100% so he succumbed but otherwise everyone else are fine.
Also filled the 5 foot tank today and hooked up the Eheim (tricky but glad it's on).
